"But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city."
Hebrews 11:16

ow should we live?
What must we do? What is required of us? this question is central to all philosophies all ethics, and all religions. There are, of course other great questions which face humanity, but this one is always central because of its practicality. It is the question that follows all others. When you have decided what you believe about God, the nature of the universe, or the origins of humanity, this question remains. What must we do?

Of course many people have proposed many answers to this question. Some have said that we must do what is Just, some have said that we must do whatever we want, some have said there is nothing we must do, and some have said we need only realize that the question isn't real. Certainly mankind excels at answers, whether they be right or not. We enjoy few things more than self deception. As is the case with most of man's philosophy, the question is more revealing of human nature than most of the answers we give for it.
